"THE SQUATTER SESSION"

James W. Buckley and Associates' distinct design methodology, referred to as a "Squatter Session", allows maximum input by our clients. This unique alternative to the conventional schematic process brings our design team to your project site. We will set up shop where the people involved with the facility are and through interview, observation, and evaluation our team will learn what is needed in the planned facility. Design sessions are open to everyone the client would like to involve, thereby providing an opportunity for comments and the ability to change the design as it evolves. All this happens on the spot. No time is lost. At the end of the session, the elevations, floor plan, and scale model of the facility are presented. There is no substitute for actually being at the project site where real conditions provide the backdrop for discussion and solution. This approach is so successful; our firm uses it on 90% of our projects.

Buckley and Associates is committed to quality. All the plans and specifications generated by each of the company's four offices are subject to the review and approval of the firm's principal owners. During this process, the design is reviewed for conformance to government regulations and codes, space utilization, aesthetics, incorporation of the owner's requests and suggestions, and overall quality. In addition, Buckley and Associates' in-house construction administration department will provide regular job site visits where they will oversee each phase of the construction process. All of these measures are preformed to ensure our clients of the highest quality and to give them the responsiveness they deserve.
